Nowdays, there are a lot of people who have to deal with rheumatism, but mostly older people.
Our case is special because the girl is a teenager.
If I had rheumatism I would try to have a normal life, even though I had to take a lot of medicines and often go to the doctor. Moreover I would try to
be surrounded by understanding people who support me when I need help.
For example at school:
- I would get more time to write the exam
- I would take the elevator instead using the stairs
Our conclusion is that first it would be hard to accept the disability, but with my friends and family comprehension I would end up feeling as good as
everyone else without.
This interview is about a girl who has rheumatism.
The essay was written by Raffaele Caten, Alicia Garcia, Jana Puerto and Jule Hauff.
